Study Objectives

1. To study long term health outcomes of sickle cell disease and bone marrow transplant related complications with sickle cell disease in individuals who have undergone bone marrow transplant at least 1 year prior.
2. To compare health outcomes in individuals with sickle cell disease who have undergone bone marrow transplant at least 1 year prior to their HLA matched donors or a health control sibling of the individual who underwent unrelated donor or HLA haploidentical related donor bone marrow transplant.
3. To compare health outcomes with individuals with sickle cell disease who have undergone bone marrow transplant to matched sickle cell patients who have not undergone bone marrow transplant
4. To determine the natural history of sickle cell disease related complications and health outcomes in individuals with sickle cell disease.
