Purpose of the Study

The STELLaR study is designed to gain knowledge about the long-term impact of having a bone marrow transplant to treat sickle cell disease. It is also intended to compare the health outcomes of individuals who have sickle cell disease, the bone marrow donors, and the bone marrow transplant recipients.
